For those who know us, it is a sad, sad day at our house. We've just lost the Best Dog EVER......our beloved family friend, always with a smile on her face. She was beautiful, intimidating to those who didn't know her, and a 100 lb lap dog to us. She walked with my husband through some of his most difficult times, played hide and seek at the park, and would play tag with Gabe. We are ever grateful for the time she got to spend with us and we lost her much too soon. She was never "just a dog," she was part of our family and we will mourn her loss.

Kate, I am so sorry you lost your sweet baby. I can only tell you that it gets a little easier everyday. They will always live on in our memory. Losing my Temper has made me think about a wonderful piece of art I want to create in his memory, as I am sure you will too when you are feeling up to it.
ReplyDeleteone thing for sure is, our dogs hit the lottery to be loved by such great people and have the amazing homes they did.
